TRANQUILLITA' E ORIGINALITA'
Tranquillità e tipicità
Non si viene qua per L’ extra lusso, per quegli hotel asettici e perfetti, e costruiti in serie, arredato da qualche interior designer hipster tutti alla stessa maniera. Si viene da questi bravi signori italiani per l’estrema pace della struttura , per il folklore di camere sistemate e arredate come una volta con un restauro conservativo, per sfuggire allo squallore dei palazzoni anni 80 della costa di Tenerife. Andrea e sua moglie sono proprietari perfetti: simpatici accoglienti ma anche riservati , ti lasciano la privacy necessaria ma sono sempre presenti via whatsapp quando necessario. Sono persone genuine che vivono il posto, non dei dipendenti demotivati di un grande hotel che non vedono l’ora di finire il turno. Ti consigliano il ristorante e la spiaggetta in cui loro stessi vanno, ti spiegano bene la zona, ti sanno consigliare sul da farsi, tutto in maniera precisa e stimolante. Ti mettono di buon umore e sono una ventata di cordialità in un isola in cui non sempre il turista italiano è visto di buon occhio (o questa è stata la mia impressione) La camera ripeto non la si sceglie per il lusso. Sono camere basic dal pavimento in legno scricchiolante , magari il materasso non proprio extra comfort, il bagno piccolino ecc vi lascio immaginare il tipo di struttura che è rustica senza dilungarmi perché non ho niente di cui lamentarmi…ma chi se ne frega di queste cose quando stai in un posto così! Di sera una pace mai sentita, di fuori un giardino in cui star sereni, una piscina piccolina piccolina in cui stare a mollo quando caldo. Il paesino è piccolo e non c’è praticamente nulla, ma è a meno di 5 minuti dall’autostrada e praticamente all’imbocco della bellissima TF-38 che porta dritto fino al teide in curve emozionanti che sembra di essere in America: andateci al tramonto e mi ringrazierete!

Tranquility and originality
You do not come here for the extra luxury, for those sterile and perfect hotels, and built in series, furnished by some hipster interior designer all the same. You come from these good Italian gentlemen for the extreme peace of the structure, for the folklore of rooms settled and furnished as they once were with a conservative restoration, to escape the squalor of the 80's buildings of the coast of Tenerife. Andrea and his wife are perfect owners: Friendly welcoming but also reserved, they leave you the privacy you need but they are always available via whatsapp when necessary. They are genuine people who live the place, not the demotivated employees of a large hotel who are looking forward to finishing their shift. They recommend the restaurant and the small beach in which they themselves go, they explain the area well, they can advise you on what to do, all in a precise and stimulating way. They put you in a good mood and I am a breeze of cordiality on an island where the Italian tourist is not always seen to be pleasant (or that was my impression). I repeat, you do not choose the room for luxury. They are basic rooms with creaky wooden floor, maybe the mattress is not really extra comfort, the bathroom is small etc I let you imagine the kind of structure that is rustic without a long time because I have nothing to complain about... but who cares about these things when you stay in a place like this! In the evening a peace never felt, outside a garden where you can relax, a small swimming pool where you can soak in when it's hot. The village is small and there is practically nothing, but it is less than 5 minutes from the highway and practically at the entrance of the beautiful TF-38 that leads straight to the teide in exciting turns that feel like America: go there at sunset and thank me!
