A perfect place to rest while enjoying Tenerife. Easy to get to, close to the vulcano, and to the beach. In there the temperature is quite refreshing also during the hot season.

Una location magica e strategica dalla quale ammirare tramonti spettacolari! Strategica perché dal piccolo paese caratteristico di Chio, dove comunque ci sono negozi di ogni genere primario, in pochi minuti sei al mare e in località più turistiche. Ho soggiornato nel bilocale Che Guevara, con entrata indipendente, e mi sono trovata benissimo, pulito ed accogliente. L’atmosfera che si respira nella locanda è veramente deliziosa e gli spazi in condivisione sono attrezzati di tutto e anche di più. Silvia María è un ospite molto gentile e cordiale che non ha esitato a darmi le informazioni richieste. Consiglio I Miti vivamente! A really amazing location
Far from turistic bustle, a quiet location created with professional sensibility in respect of canarian styles. Room is very nice, I would like to say with a sparkling atmosphere and, last but not least ,very clean. Staff is friendly and, if you are lucky, you can find ...a wonderfull banana jam

Lovely quaint room in village with stunning views of the sea, La Gomera and the mountains
Lovely old traditional house in centre of Chio village with gorgeous rooftop terrace overlooking the sea and La Gomera. Hosts were so helpful and charming. The accommodation is very inexpensive and Bob Marley room was ensuite and clean and comfortable. There is a shared kitchen and areas to sit out and eat. Chio is a small village within minutes of the motorway with access to the coast and the mountains, Mount Teide is 40 kms away. It is ideal to have a car but the area is very suitable for cycling and hiking. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Nous sommes restés deux nuits. Tout est parfait dans cet endroit au charme atypique, restauré avec goût. L'âme d'artiste de Sylvia est partout. Beaucoup de cachet pour cette maison pleine de surprises et de demi-niveaux. La terrasse sur le toit est une invitation pour l'apéro au coucher de soleil! De là: vue sur la mer...et le Teide de l'autre côté! Merci à Syvia et son mari pour leur accueil chaleureux. Je reviendrai.

La seconda recensione...
We found our little holiday paradise. It is such an awesome place. Very special and lots of lovely touches with local design. Silvia and Andrea are the most thoughtful and gracious hosts. I m sure soon they become super hosts on Airbnb. They just finished the renovation of this beautiful guesthouse. Silvia is an architect and she really turned this typical traditional house-ensemble into a beautiful Guesthouse. They provided us with all the information . Kitchen is compact and contains everything we need. There are also beautiful terraces to eat and hang around. The view is spectacular. At a clear day you can not only see the ocean but also see the next island La Gomera. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is excellent with a nice shower. Altogether the location is an incredible, quiet, clean, spacious and calming place. Pets are also welcome. We travel with our cat. She had a good time too. I can highly recommend Cassius Clay or Bob Marley (all rooms have a name) for pets, because these apartments/rooms have there own outside area. Finally an Airbnb that lives up to expectations and beyond. By far the nicest of any we stayed in before.

La prima recensione...
Der etwas andere Urlaub auf Teneriffa. Wer keine Hotelburgen und mit Touristen überfüllte Orte liebt, der ist hier genau richtig. Chío ist ein kleiner Ort, wo wir nur Einheimische getroffen haben, die uns alle immer sehr freundlich grüßten. Sogar der herumlaufende Hund hatte uns ins Herz geschlossen.
Der Ort liegt außerdem strategisch sehr günstig um die Insel zu erkunden, Meer und Vulkan sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Silvia Maria und Andrea haben das verfallene Haus komplett renoviert und haben dabei soweit wie möglich das vorhandene Material verwendet, wie sie uns erzählt haben. Es ist ein verschachteltes, Treppauf und Treppab, mit vielen Kunstwerken ausgestattet, bei dem die Handschrift der Architektin Silvia Maria nicht zu übersehen ist. Sowohl die Frühstücksterrasse, die Gemeinschaftsküche als auch die Panoramaterrasse haben uns in ihren Bann gezogen. Und wer hat schon ein Fenster im Bad, dass früher ein Bullauge war? Silvia Maria und Andrea haben uns mit Infos, Tipps und Insiderwissen die Insel betreffend versorgt und so wurde dieser Urlaub zu etwas wirklich ganz besonderem. Danke euch dafür.
